RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN
This residence is a striking example of Tropical Modernism, defined by its bold geometric massing and sophisticated interplay of solid and void. The façade features a prominent cantilevered volume on the first floor, which not only adds structural dynamism but also provides deep shading for the entrance porch below, protecting it from harsh sunlight. A refined material palette of textured plaster, natural stone cladding, and warm timber accents creates a tactile depth that contrasts beautifully with the clean lines of the structure. Vertical wooden louvers and brise-soleil screens are strategically positioned to ensure privacy and filter daylight, enhancing the building’s climate responsiveness. The upper level is crowned with a semi-open pergola, creating a breezy terrace space that connects the residents with the outdoors. Integrated planters and trailing vines soften the hard edges, seamlessly blending the architecture with the landscape.
