“The House 2 Courtyard” is a thoughtfully designed contemporary residence set on a spacious 475 sq.m. plot. True to our belief that the best design is the simplest one that works, this home is spatially organized around a series of central internal courtyards. We incorporated a dynamic blend of “green,” “dry,” and “wet” courts to carefully balance lush plantation with usable hardscaping. Architecturally, these courtyards act as vital passive design elements, deliberately breaking down solar heat from the south while significantly enhancing natural air and light quality throughout the interiors. A distinct connecting bridge links the upper volumes, ensuring seamless movement and visual continuity across the open spaces. Grounded by curated textured flooring and bespoke ceiling designs, the project delivers a lively, personalized sanctuary that translates our client’s vision into reality.
